Photography Tutorial Part 6
Part 6 – Macro Specifics
Here is the next instalment of my series of photography tutorials... If you like it please fav it!
Now, lots of people love a good macro, so I hope I don’t disappoint!
The equipment
1. Macro lens – The best thing to have for macro photography.  It gives the best optical quality and allows a 1:1 reproduction ratio.  The prime ones are the best to go for... However zoom ones are good too.  A nice prime macro lens also makes for a good portrait lens too, so it does have more than one use.
2. Extension tubes – These are a cheaper alternative to a dedicated macro lens.  They work well, and give good quality, but you need more light to use them, so a tripod is often needed.
3. Close up filters – You can get these in various strengths, each with a different magnification.  They are technically the worst for image quality.
4. Lens babies – I don’t reall

Project Educate: Resource Yourself
As the Project Educate week for General Photography draws to end, we hope that you've enjoyed and learned something from the introduction to a wide variety of photography genres.
Photography is an artistic medium that is as tall as it is wide and there is more to learn than we could ever fit into a week. Keep your eyes out for the weeks that will feature photography that we haven't covered yet at projecteducate.
The most important thing that I want to leave you with is that although there is more to this medium than we could ever teach or show you in a week, there is a plethora of information out there. Whatever flavor of photography you enjoy there is a community and a ton of resources to help you indulge in your love and learn from it.
Below is a compiled list of many resources that you can use to continue learning and enjoying the amazing craft that is photography. If there's something you'd like to know how to do, but it's not on the list below... just remember: google is your

Clubs encourage artblock

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 7, 2011, 4:39 AM
Hello my dear watchers! I know, I am a rare bird here on DA... I haven't been very productive lately, but you may be sure that I don't hide anything from you in the darkest corner of my laptop - all new artworks are immediately posted here. There is still one thing that upsets me.

I have submitted some new works here and wanted to feature them in clubs I am the member of. But two of them declined my deviations. I was deeply hurt when my deviation ESS 2010 - Death's Tears by Lucyolla was declined. I asked about the reason, but they haven't answered yet.

I just don't understand... is MY art worse than anybody else's? I admit that there are real masters of equine art but I also work much to improve.

Right now I want to start working at the picture that is going to be a birthday present for my friend's sister. She likes horses. I already have a lineart, so hope that won't take much time to finish.

you dont have to draw my character, but just make your own for the contest for one of mine.
